Weather and Altitude
High in the Rocky Mountains, Aspen has its own unique climate. The weather is quite variable, even for an alpine town, and the altitude is a very challenging aspect to adjust to. Even the locals are still figuring it out. Explore these tips to arrive at the wedding all the more prepared.
Weather
Weather in the Rocky Mountains can vary significantly from one hour to the next. The average temperature during the day in MONTH OF WEDDING is in the high BLANK°F, although temperatures are much cooler during the evening. The occasional shower can occur at any time, sometimes turning into thunderstorms, but these do not last long. Please be prepared on your adventures.
ANY NOTES REGARDING DRESS FOR CEREMONY (IE -Bring a shawl or jacket for the ceremony. Heals are fine, as all walk-ways are paved.)
Altitude
The town of Aspen is approximately 8,000 ft. Since it is easy to become dehydrated at high altitudes, we encourage you to drink sufficient water, even a few days before arriving in Colorado.
